Paths to Becoming was founded by survivors and advocates with lived experience to meet the complex needs of youth and young adults impacted by sexual abuse, exploitation, and other forms of trauma. We also support the families, caregivers, professionals, and community partners who are part of their healing journey.

We envision a future where those harmed by violence have the tools, support, and opportunities they need to heal, grow, rebuild their lives, and move forward with purpose.

We empower survivors with engaging, trauma-informed curricula designed by those who have walked similar paths. Becoming Me is the first in a series of practical tools to help young people heal, grow, and find a path forward.

Curriculum Overview

Becoming Me was created by survivors for survivors. It’s more than a curriculum – it’s a lifeline and a love letter for girls and young women (ages 13-21) who have experienced sexual exploitation.

Survivor-authored and trauma-informed, it equips young people with the tools to heal, rebuild trust, and step into their power.

The curriculum itself is FREE to participants. The two-day facilitator training cost is $8,000, covering:
